Wales based specialist motor sport photographers, Virtual Motorpix has taken on three new cameramen to meet the growing need for images in the publishing industry and to contribute to its growing motoring and motor sport photography archive.
The motoring photographic agency currently works with a number of photographers from the UK, Europe and the USA and with the addition of Roland Harrison, John Mountney and Dario Dominin, will now be covering even more events on the motoring calendar, including the British GT, Blancpain GT Series at Silverstone, all European FIA WEC races and the French MotoGP. This week they are travelling to the 24 hours of Le Mans classic for their clients.
Virtual Motorpix is constantly looking for new ways to provide publishers, authors and journalists with the images they need. And with each of its photographers having different specialisms and interests, it is able to deliver varied and quality photographic imagery to its clients.
Harrison specialises in British GT Championships and will this year be covering the British GT at Spa and Snetterton, as well as the Silverstone Classic. Mountney specialises in WEC races and national racing, and over the coming months will be photographing at the Le Mans test weekend, 24 Hours du Mans and the Nürburgring 6 Hours. Dominin, works in World SBK, RX and Formula 1 and will be snapping at various RX races, but also DTM and Blancpain racing.
Specialising in a wide variety of motoring subjects, Virtual Motorpix already has a huge data bank of images stretching way back to the early days of the motor industry, covering races and events, personalities, museums, production vehicles and much more.
The director of Virtual Motorpix, Glen Smale, said, “You can’t stand still in the motoring industry. It’s constantly changing and evolving. And, likewise, so are the needs of publishers and writers. Being a motoring author and journalist myself, I understand the difficulty of trying to locate images for the articles and books I write. So as a team at Virtual Motorpix, we’re doing all we can to make those hard-to-get-hold-of shots more easily available.”
So whether you’re looking for motoring and motor sport photos for a book, magazine article or promotional campaign, Virtual Motorpix is your port of call.
And if you can’t find what you’re looking for on the website, just get in touch and the team will do its best to help you get hold of it.
