Outlaw private parking tickets, say drivers
Four in ten (41%) of drivers believe private companies should not be allowed to issue parking tickets, with more than half (54%) of over 65s saying this. £12M annual parking fines paid in Cardiff
Drivers in Cardiff forked out over £12M in parking fines in 12 months, figures reveal. Overall, Brits waste at least £132 million each year on parking tickets – that’s a shocking £530 million since 2015, with 14 million fines being issued by councils.
