One of the world’s leading manufacturers of stainless steel motorcycle brake lines will be supporting Wales-based Phil Morris Racing in 2016.
Hel Performance produces over 3,800 different motorcycle brake line kits and its products are already used by MotoGP, WSBK, BSB and IoM TT teams, among them Crescent Suzuki, Samsung Honda and Norton.
Now they have announced their backing for PMR during the forthcoming season.
2015 has been the busiest season to date for the Phil Morris Racing team supporting a number of up and coming young riders as well as demonstrating a range of the bikes from their Road Racing Museum in Oswestry throughout the UK and beyond.
Already, however, the team look set to be even more active in 2016 with a second ART MotoGP bike having been acquired from Paul Bird Racing and Ian Hutchinson lined up to join John McGuinness in demonstrating those while team patron Phil Morris has announced that the team also plans to run the museum’s ex-Valentino Rossi 125cc Aprilia at selected events next year. Reflecting the continuing growth of the team, Derek Smith, the man behind Aberdare Park Road Races, has recently been appointed Sponsorship Director.
Welcoming the news from Hel Performance, Phil said, “It’s great to have another major company that has bike sport at its heart joining our team.
“We already have some of the sports leading names on board and the addition of Hel will mean we can continue to support some of our top young riders and take our historic bikes to an even wider audience.”
