The opening round of the 2019 Welsh Classic Scrambles Championship was hosted by Teifiside Motor Club on Sunday, writes Gary Jones.

The event attracted over 150 riders to the action packed event at Crugmore Farm Penparc, Cardigan, to the delight of spectators that turned out to see the classic bikes of yesteryear.
The format of the day was nine classes, each having 3 blocks of racing which made a great 27 races during the day and included sidecars.
Riders had turned out for the event from as far as Kendal in the Lake District to the south of England and most parts of Wales who pitched their skills and nerves against a host of local riders.
