Weekend roadtest: X-files reopened with BMW
X-marks the spot for BMW UK sales successes. The SUV series begins with the X1 and since its launch in 2009 over 40,000 have been sold in Britain. Last autumn the second series was announced and first orders are now trickling through. Faulty airbags found on new MINI and some BMW models
Thousands of MINIs will be recalled in America to replace faulty front airbags which may not fully deploy. The fault was identified on US models from 2014 to 2016 and covers about 6,000 Cooper S, Cooper, John Cooper Works and some BMW i3 cars as well which used the same parts.
