Thousands of MINIs will be recalled in America to replace faulty front airbags which may not fully deploy.
The fault was identified on US models from 2014 to 2016 and covers about 6,000 Cooper S, Cooper, John Cooper Works and some BMW i3 cars as well which used the same parts.
The owners will be contacted by BMW and MINI and remedial work will begin at the end of November. BMW and MINI said no UK models were affected.
