Nissan is expanding its value-packed Micra range with a new equipment-laden N-TEC model.
Positioned between the existing Acenta and Tekna models, the new Micra N-TEC offers buyers the chance to experience some of Nissan’s acclaimed technology features at an incredible price. Priced from £12,400 and available to order now, the new Micra N-TEC is available with the same advanced engine line-up as other models in the range.
That means customers can choose between the entry-level 1.2-litre petrol engine that produces 80PS, or the supercharged 1.2-litre DIG-S unit that develops 98PS. The former is available with Nissan’s smooth CVT automatic transmission as an option.
The new Micra N-TEC’s generous equipment list includes the lastest-generation NissanConnect system. And the gadget-count doesn’t end there. The Micra n-tec’s equipment list also includes Rear Parking Sensors and Parking Slot Measurement. These two features work together to help drivers find the perfect parking space. Parking Slot Measurement lives up to its name by measuring parking slots and alerting the driver via a dashboard display as to whether New Micra can be safely parked in the space or not.The system can even be adjusted to account for the driver’s skill – amateur, normal or expert.
Other technologies fitted as standard to the new Micra N-TEC include automatic climate control, rain sensing windscreen wipers and automatic headlights.
The Micra N-TEC also looks the part thanks to a host of premium styling features that include 16-inch alloy wheels, front fog lamps and rear privacy glass. Silver satin door mirrors and door handles complete the exterior design package. Inside, the N-TEC stands out from the crowd with a centre console finished in gloss black and distinctive blue stitching on the trim and leather-covered steering wheel.
