The number of motorcyclists killed or injured on roads in Wales has risen for the fourth year in a row and is at a seven-year high, official figures show.
Incidents recorded by the police reveal 28 people died in 2014, up from 17 in 2013 and the total number of those killed, seriously or slightly injured in 2014 was 749 – the highest for seven years.
Construction work on the new £24.5 Million A487 Dyfi Bridge could start by the end of next year, the Transport Minister, Edwina Hart, said as she outlined the next steps for the project.
A public exhibition will take place in early autumn to introduce the project team, outline the proposals and explain the timetable for the scheme.
