
The new Mercedes-Benz S-Class Cabriolet is now available from £110,120 for the S 500 AMG Line.
The S-Class Cabriolet range will comprise three powerful petrol engines. The S 500 comes with a twin-turbo 4.6-litre V8 with a power output of 455 hp; the Mercedes-AMG S 63 with a 5.5-litre V8 twin-turbocharged unit generating 585 hp; while the range-topping S 65 features a 6.0-litre V12 twin-turbo with an output of 630 hp.
The S 500 can sprint from 0 to 62 mph in just 4.6 seconds, while still achieving 32.5 mpg. The S 63 can hit 62 mph from standstill in 4.2 seconds, and the S 65 can reach the same speed in only 4.1 seconds.
All three models are electronically limited to a top speed of 155 mph – this can be increased on the S 63 and S 65 to 186 mph with the optional AMG Driver’s package (S 63 – £2,760; S 65 – £765).
In addition to the AMG Line standard equipment, the Mercedes-AMG S 63 adds: a front splitter in matt silver; AMG radiator grille with twin louvre in matt silver; AMG chrome-plated twin tailpipes; ‘V8 BITURBO’ lettering on the front wings; 19-inch AMG alloy wheels; Burmester surround sound system with 13 speakers; Driving Assistance package; AMG sports exhaust system; and Nappa leather upholstery.
Prices rise from £110,120 to £192,805.
