A Mitsubishi dealership in Glamorgan is ensuring that a new High Sheriff gets out and about in eco-friendly style.
Nathaniel Cars in David Street, Bridgend, has lent an Outlander PHEV to Jayne James, who is the Crown’s new ceremonial judicial representative for Mid Glamorgan.
The former BBC Wales presenter said, “The PHEV is proving to be a great car, with plenty of performance and fuel savings, which I am sure will delight my purse over the year!
“I’ll be using it for all sorts of public engagements, from citizenship ceremonies and royal visits to charity work. These duties will take me all over the south Wales terrain, so it’ll be a massive help, and I am hugely grateful to Nathaniel Cars for their generosity.”
Nathaniel Cars’ Managing Director, Wayne Griffiths, said, “We’re delighted to lend Jayne an Outlander PHEV. We know how keen she is on helping the environment, and the High Sheriff plays an important part in the area, so this is the perfect combination. It’s great, too, to be associated with such a historic and traditional role.”
