Over £3m of taxpayer money has been spent by the Welsh Government installing speed cameras on five stretches of major Welsh roads. Drivers who break the 50mph limits on parts of A470 and other main roads in Wales will be warned and prosecuted from monday. Gateway roads into Wales will get a make-over. Welsh Transport Secretary Ken Skates today announced a five-year programme to landscape and enhance main roads for visitors.
