Wales has the highest rate of train cancellations and lateness across the British network.
The failings by Welsh Government’s services arm Transport for Wales shows cancellations run at 7%.
Commenting on the news that stations in Wales had the highest cancellation rate in the UK, at 7%, Welsh Conservative Shadow Transport Minister, Natasha Asghar MS said, “Labour-run Transport for Wales needs to get a grip on trains in Wales.
“With massive disruption caused by the Metro work, they cannot continue to let people down by cancelling the limited services they have remaining.
“It is shocking that Wales has the highest cancellation rate for trains in the UK and 20 out of the 25 worst performing stations. Once again under Labour, Wales is bottom of an ever-growing list that also includes health and education.
“Labour’s anti-road, anti-growth and anti-worker agenda is stifling progress in Wales, they cannot keep pushing through policies that punish commuters, such as blanket 20mph speed limits and a ban on road building, before offering a viable public transport alternative.”
