“Cut pump prices” retailers urged by RAC
The RAC has issued a plea to fuel retailers to play fair with UK motorists by immediately cutting the price of both unleaded and diesel at the pumps, in the wake of falling oil and wholesale fuel prices. Road tax evasion and the introduction of greener vehicles has meant a fall of £93m in excise duty according to the annual report by the DVLA.
