The new Volkswagen ID. Buzz has been crowned Electric Car of the Year at the prestigious Top Gear Electric Awards 2022.
Judges praised the ID. Buzz which goes on sale later this year for its iconic style, which pays homage to the original Volkswagen T1’s design.
British electric car charging specialist EZ-Charge is preparing to ramp-up production of its self-developed 22kWh charging unit after proposed government legislation made it the perfect off-the-shelf solution for local authorities across the UK.

Approached by the presenter of the show, Titch Cormack, Protech was challenged to create a specialist shock for a sidecar that would be comfortable and safe for close friend Toby Gutteridge, an ex-Royal Marine left paralysed from the neck down following a term in Afghanistan and who had a burning desire to experience his pre-injury passion for riding motorbikes, so Titch and Toby developed a plan to create a specially adapted sidecar.
