Despite racking up 760,000 fines between them drivers of Ford, Volkswagen and BMW also made up the highest number of unpaid parking fines with an outstanding £15,000,000 in fines between them.
Almost half of this eye watering total is made up of fines from Ford alone, with the make accounting for £6,500,000, according to data compiled by National Scrap Car.
