A new appointment has been made to 1link Disposal Network account management team as volumes sold through the platform increased by 60% in Q1 of 2016.
Amy Tew has worked in sales for a wide range of dealerships including Brandish Vauxhall, Johnsons Cars and Peugeot Citroen. At epyx, her responsibility as sales executive is to work closely with dealers using 1link Disposal Network, developing strategies designed to enable them to dispose of cars through both retail and trade channels as they approach their stocking days limit.
Launched in 2007, 1link Disposal Network is used by major fleets, traders and dealers to manage the buying and selling of stock through a wide variety of channels including online and auctions.
The growth is evidence of the increasing move to on-line processing of stock sales and acquisitions. It also comes as dealers in the UK report record registrations in March with over 500,000 cars booked out, but some say the level of self-registrations may be 10% of this figure, or more.
