Kia UK Limited has extended its long-running roadside assistance partnership with the RAC, to the end of 2023.
Every new Kia sold – including the multi award-winning all-new Sportage and fully-electric EV6 – is covered by Kia Roadside Assistance, a fully comprehensive roadside service delivered by the RAC that gives drivers complete peace of mind, whether they are driving in the UK or elsewhere in Europe.
Graham Conway, Managing Director of Select Car Leasing, has called for better guidance from the Government on what actually constitutes an ‘emergency’.
He said, “It’s clear that the hard shoulder should only be used as a ‘last resort’ – but I’d argue that this definition will differ from person to person and is open to interpretation. Some more clarity from the Department for Transport, I think, would be useful, particularly as smart motorways themselves can often be confusing to navigate.”

Electric Universe, formerly Electric Juice, is making charging electric cars simple, allowing drivers to use just one card and one app on Apple or Android phones to access over 300,000 public charge points from a range of brands across the globe from major providers.
The Motor Ombudsman’s 2022 Star Awards are now open.
