Cardiff-based commercial vehicle service manager Karl Hadley has won a prestigious trophy from Mercedes-Benz Vans, in recognition of his exemplary customer service.
Karl, who is a key member of the aftersales team at South Wales Dealer Euro Commercials, stepped up to collect the Keeping Businesses Moving Award at the manufacturer’s annual Van Stars celebration of excellence within its franchised retail network.
The event, which was staged at the Celtic Manor Resort, in Newport, brought together representatives of Dealers from all over the United Kingdom. Underlining the importance of Karl’s achievement, his award was one of only six presented on the night.
Euro Commercials, which also operates from branches in Newport and Swansea, sells and supports the award-winning Mercedes-Benz Vans range of Citan, Vito and Sprinter models, and X-Class pickups.
Its Cardiff workshop provides vehicle maintenance and repair services seven days a week – the facility is open from 6am Monday until 10pm each Thursday, from 6am-10pm Fridays, and from 6am-6pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
On joining the Dealer as Cardiff Service Manager in 2017, Karl declared: “I’d always dreamed of working with the Mercedes-Benz brand and am relishing this opportunity to make a difference. I’m determined that under my leadership the team will deliver the highest standards of service excellence.”
