The number of breath tests carried out in June was almost twice that of the annual average and that trend looks to continue.
Direct Line car insurance says June has continually been one of the peak months for roadside breath testing since 2008 and typically police carry out twice the number of average monthly tests, peaking at over 108,000.

Bentley Motors appointed Stefan Sielaff as its new Director of Design, replacing Luc Donckerwolke who has been with Bentley since 2012.
Mr Sielaff will join Bentley on 1 July 2015 from his current dual role as Head of Volkswagen Group Interior Design and Design Director at Volkswagen Design Center Potsdam.
