This morning, the Welsh Cabinet Secretary for Transport and North Wales, Ken Skates and the First Minister of Wales, Eluned Morgan, will visit Merthyr Tydfil Bus Station to launch £1 bus fares for 5–15-year-olds.
This rollout is an extension of the 16–21-year-old pilot scheme that was launched in September, as part of the Welsh Government Draft Budget 2025-26.
