Cardiff and Vale College has secured planning consent for a £65m new advanced technology centre at Cardiff Airport.
The 130,000 sq ft project has been approved by Vale of Glamorgan Council as one of two new campuses in a £100m investment located alongside the college’s existing International Centre for Aerospace Training and accommodate around 2,000 learners and more than 100 staff but there’s no indication of road improvements from the M4 motorway to ease access to the site.
Stellantis has put the brakes on new car sales to avoid hefty fines if it misses EV mandated targets in Britain.
The company’s new head of Europe Jean-Philippe Imparato said sales of petrol and diesel models will be reduced until the end of this year so it can meet a 22% EV content and avoid UK Government fines of thousands of pound for not reaching that in its mix of models sold.
