Following the positive feedback on the one-off presented in summer 2022, MINI is going ahead with a small series of all-electric MINI Convertible (power consumption combined: 17.2 kWh/62 miles according to WLTP; combined CO2 emissions: 0 g/km, Energy Consumption – 3.6 miles/kWh), representing another big step in the direction of electric mobility.

Rail strikes mean that more than three-quarters (78%) of people plan to make a long-term switch from rail travel and into cars.
February’s Startline Used Car Tracker also reports that 35% are walking more, 19% are using other public transport such as buses and trams, 13% are using a traditional bicycle and 11% are travelling by electric bike but over two-thirds will still favour trains, citing convenience and pleasure.
The Department for Transport have announced that their 4-1-1 MOT Consultation has been extended, with the closing date now set to be 22 March 2023.

While Tevva’s laser-guided focus remains trained on building and delivering its battery-electric 7.5t vehicle, testing and development of its hydrogen-electric counterpart continues apace.
Four Tevva engineers: Charlie Cordell, Byron Dolman, Ryan Clark and Toby Hurst were doing exactly that recently, with a ‘range test’ of Tevva’s dual-energy prototype truck which saw them accumulate approximately 620 miles in the 7.5t hydrogen-electric vehicle between Tevva’s London HQ and the Scottish border at Berwick-on-Tweed – England’s most northernmost town.
