The M4 north of Bridgend was closed for ten hours over Saturday night after a man’s body was discovered on the carriageway.
Police said he had been run over by a number of vehicles on the westbound direction but investigations meant both sides were closed until approximately 8am yesterday.
Councils in Wales made a £14m profit in parking charges in the last financial year, a new report has revealed.
Local authorities charged motorists a total of £37.4m for on and off-street parking and penalties during the 12 months to April this year and this was a 4.5% increase on the previous year, said the RAC Foundation.
