Isuzu UK has renewed its partnership with the Welsh Rugby Union as the Official Supplier until 2025.
This exciting collaboration further strengthens Isuzu’s commitment to supporting the sport of rugby and reinforces its dedication to the Welsh community.
Over the past years, Isuzu UK has been an integral part of the rugby community in Wales, enabling the team to deliver exceptional rugby activities across the country.
As part of the partnership, Isuzu will supply and deliver a substantial fleet of Isuzu D-Max pickups, which will play a crucial role in supporting the WRU’s community department.
These reliable vehicles will facilitate the seamless delivery of exceptional rugby activities across Wales, further cementing Isuzu’s contribution to the sport’s growth and development in the region.
The partnership will also allow the brand to showcase the durability, reliability, and safety of Isuzu D-Max pick-ups to rugby enthusiasts and a broader audience.
George Wallis, Head of Marketing, Isuzu UK, said, “This latest agreement means the Isuzu brand will have been continually associated with the WRU for eight years.
“Rugby is an intrinsic part of Welsh life, and we are delighted to continue our relationship with an institution which shares our values of dependability, toughness, and commitment. We are looking forward to future success on the field.”
This new announcement extends the existing relationship between the WRU and Isuzu UK which first joined forces in 2017, launching a four-year deal, and at that point, the biggest shirt partnership deal in the WRU’s history.
“We are delighted to welcome Isuzu back as an Official Supplier to the Welsh Rugby Union,” says Nigel Walker, WRU’s interim CEO. “We have a successful history of collaboration together, and I look forward to seeing what the next two years with Isuzu have in store.”
