The first Aston Martin hybrid sports car will develop a combined 950ps from its 4.0 litre twin turbo V8 petrol engine and twin electric motors driving front and rear wheels.
The Valhalla has moved from concept to creation with its active aerodynamics and new eight-speed dual clutch transmission, racing tuned handling and suspension and will be the British company’s first mid-engined supercar for the road.
It will also have an electric reversing action from the motors as well as an E-Diff for added traction to save weight.
Active flaps are fitted to the exhausts and top-exit tailpipes enhance the aural experience.
Maximum speed is about 217mph from the petrol and electric motors and 0-62mph takes 2.5 seconds with about 12 miles range on pure battery alone but up to 1,000Nm of torque is available.
No production figures or timetable have been given by the company for the car but if demand is intense as expected it could be road ready in just a few years.
