A million-pound refurbishment for a Welsh car retailer is complete.
The new showroom, on Holyhead Road, Anglesey, houses local Volvo retailer, Tyn Lon Garage, with an investment of £1m to improve facilities for customers.
The retailer’s new site features Volvo’s signature large lounge area, complete with Scandi-style furniture and Swedish cakes and coffee. Large panoramic glass walls allow customers to see all activity in the new workshops from the comfort of the lounge, where they can enjoy a Swedish “fika” coffee break, or continue working with free Wi-Fi.
Tyn Lon Garage will also be offering the new Volvo Personal Service, which means that technicians will liaise with the customer from the point of booking, right through to explaining the services – which the technicians themselves will have carried out. Two Personal Service Technicians work together on each car, reducing waiting times for customers.
Neil Williams, Retailer Principal at Tyn Lon Garage, said, “We are delighted to announce the refurbishment of our site, not least because this impressive development reflects our commitment to improving customer experiences and efficiency.
“This investment isn’t just about a change of furniture, it’s designed to make our customers feel relaxed and at ease in an environment that provides flexible waiting, working and assessment areas.
“After the record-breaking successes of our new Volvo models over the last few months, we felt this was the perfect time to invest in an impressive new showroom and we’re looking forward to our customers seeing the finished product.”
