Wales’s first low carbon vehicle conference will be held this month.
The Millennium Centre, Cardiff Bay is the venue for the ground-breaking conference on 18 March which will include speeches by industry leaders and experts in low carbon technology.
There will be an opening address by Wales Minister for Economy Science and Transport, Edwina Hart and the event arranged by the Energy Saving Trust will be chaired by Prof Garel Rhys, WAF Chairman.
Welsh businesses with an interest in low carbon vehicles, infrastructure and related technology and components are being invited to attend. A hydrogen vehicle conference was held in the venue two years ago and was very well attended.
There will be opportunities to experience low carbon vehicles and network with industry specialists to understand future supply chain opportunities and develop new products and business opportunities.
Take the Smarter Driving Challenge and improve your skills on the Energy Saving Trust Driving Simulator to see how much you could be saving.
There are company benefits from LCVs including zero road tax, lower fuel and maintenance costs and tax breaks.
