Wales has some of the best charge points for electric vehicles in the UK, say comparethemarket.
The Wales-based insurer looked at places and hotspots for ev charging across the Uk and came up with some surprises.
Outside of London, Christchurch in Dorset is the area with the highest concentration of charging points, with 112 overall, and West Somerset and Fermanagh & Omagh are in second and third place respectively.

The research also looked at the electric vehicle charging hotspots in London too. Aside from the City of London (which was excluded due to its low resident population) Wandsworth is the London borough with the highest availability of chargers, with 34 per 100 electric vehicles.
Essex has the fewest charge points per 100 EVs and in single figures but the place without any is Barrow in Furness, Cumbria on the UK mainland and Scilly Isles offshore.
