The Petrol Retailers Association asked Chancellor of the Exchequer, Jeremy Hunt, to keep the 5ppl fuel duty cut introduced in March.
Gordon Balmer, Executive Director of the PRA, said, “When every penny counts, it is crucial that the 5ppl fuel duty cut introduced in March of is maintained for families struggling with the cost-of-living-crisis that 5ppl will make a huge difference.”
From 15 November, charging on the InstaVolt network will cost 75p per kWh for all customers across all payment types.
In a statement, the company said, “While we understand this will cause disappointment, we remain committed to continuing our build programme, bringing more chargers online across the country, investing in a new hub strategy, and maintaining an industry leading standard of reliability.”
