Evasion and greener cars are taxing DVLA income
Road tax evasion and the introduction of greener vehicles has meant a fall of £93m in excise duty according to the annual report by the DVLA. The abolition of the paper tax disc is thought to account for most of the lost revenue which is above Government predictions, said the RAC.
