Top British female rally driver Sara Williams has picked up another award, but not for for her considerable skill behind a wheel, writes Beth Keenan.
The 27 year old business woman has been honoured by the British Vehicle Rental and Leasing Association for her work behind the scenes in the family motoring business at Brecon.
The Industry Hero Awards recognise the unsung stars of the sector who had been nominated by their co-workers.
At Brecon Car Rentals she started cleaning vehicles and answering the phone, moved to customer relations and gained wider experience in accounts.
Sara joined the business full time in 2007 and now runs the department on her own, but still manages to make a name for herself rallying.
This year, Sara received the BWRDC award for the most promising female driver in the sport and intends to gain more experience in major British events.
