Ahead of the return of the school run this month, research from breakdown provider Green Flag has revealed what parents dread the most about the school run.
They also looked at other awful everyday tasks they’d prefer to do instead of the everyday school drop off and pick up.
At the top end of the list of school run dreads are being late (46%), bad weather (32%) and talking to other parents at drop off (14%) – truly British moans.
Of the parents surveyed, they said the school run invoked more fear than other day to day arduous activities including deciding what to wear (39%), emptying the dishwasher (37%), getting out of bed (37%) and even exercise (35%)!
