Alex Morgan ascended the podium for a sensational third time in two weeks, as he took to the track at Nurburgring last weekend.
Carrying his triumph through from Red Bull Ring just a weekend earlier, the Bridgend-born driver confidently pushed in his SEAT to a perfectly executed second place, from fifth on the grid and he’s well placed for the final round in the European series in November.
Whilst Formula One cars have not been raced in anger at Castle Combe for over half a century, a number of the circuit’s loyal band of spectators have memories of them in action in the mid 1950’s.
Those memories can be relived at the forthcoming ‘Autumn Classic’ on 1 October when there will be a rare opportunity to enjoy the sights, sounds and smells of some important Grand Prix cars in action, albeit at demonstration speeds and there is a special display dedicated to marking the 70th anniversary of the Cooper Car Company.
