Peugeot has unveiled the Rifter.
As the spiritual successor to the Partner Tepee, Rifter builds on its most successful elements while adding a unique, sleek design and a premium driving experience to revolutionise the market, claim the makers.
Featuring characteristics of the award-winning SUV range, a dynamic profile with a short, horizontal bonnet, and seamlessly integrated roof bars, the Rifter is changing the face of the segment and will have twin sliding rear side doors and a fifth door hatch window as well.
Based on standard or long wheelbases offering five or seven seats, it can take from 775 to 4,000 litres and has a cool-box of 186 litres.
Engines will be 110ps 1.2 petrol or 130ps 1.5 diesel with manual or automatic transmission, a lot of advanced electronic traction control options and safety systems when it goes on sale from the summer.
