Aston Martin has lost money for the fifth year in a row.
It reported a pre-tax loss of £127.9 million in 2015 as the number of cars it sold fell below expectations, and it invested in expansion, including its new Welsh factory plans and in 2014, the company reported a pre-tax loss of £71.8 million and said that it had sold 3,615 cars last year, down from 3,661 in 2014.

Global car sales totalled 20.44 million units, a 2.8% increase on the same period in 2015 and the market’s biggest brands posted declines, with Volkswagen declining by 1%, Hyundai by 3% and Chevrolet by 9% while Ford, Honda and Mercedes posted the biggest increases amongst the top 10 at 7%, 5% and 14% respectively.
Volkswagen should offer European drivers similar compensation to US customers, Europe’s Industry Commissioner Elzbieta Bienkowska told a newspaper on Sunday.
“Volkswagen should voluntarily pay European car owners compensation that is comparable with that which they will pay US consumers,” Bienkowska told Welt am Sonntag newspaper.
