Corporate fleets across Europe are making measurable progress in cutting emissions and adopting cleaner technologies but the pace of change varies significantly between sectors.
The findings show corporate fleets across Europe have cut average CO₂ emissions by 25% in just two years according to the second edition of the Fleet Sustainability Ranking Report, produced by Ayvens, a leader in sustainable mobility, which tracks how different industries are transitioning toward low- and zero-emission mobility across 29 European countries.
New research from car insurance expert MoneySuperMarket reveals that 4% of UK drivers are unaware that their policy has an expiry date, meaning the equivalent of 1.6 million motorists could be at risk of breaking the law without realising.
Driving without valid insurance is classed as a criminal offence, so it’s crucial that drivers are aware of their policy expiry date and if found to be driving without valid insurance, drivers could be fined a minimum of £300 and receive six points on their licence. In some cases, it could lead to being disqualified from driving.
