A 60-tonne crane has caused queues of up to 15 miles on the M4 after it broke down during Monday morning’s rush hour.
At its peak, eastbound traffic was backed up to junction 30 (Cardiff Gate) as the crane blocked a lane in Newport between junctions 25 (Caerleon) and 24 (Coldra).
