Automotive charity Ben is launching an exciting new active challenge, Move4Ben, starting on 1 June, to raise vital funds and inspire people to improve their physical and mental wellbeing.
Move4Ben will challenge participants to exercise in any way they choose and, at the same time, raise funds for Ben so that no-one in automotive has to face life’s toughest challenges alone.
To take part, each participant sets their own personal challenge in terms of distance and exercise type. For example, participants could walk 10,000 steps a day, dance for 100 hours, complete 10k on a space hopper or run 5k a day – whatever they like!
Welsh liaison manager for the charity Sarah Hughes said,” Move4Ben will also promote some healthy competition within the industry and offer participants the opportunity to reconnect with others post-lockdown as they can take part with colleagues, friends, family, or on their own.”
Find out more and sign up for Move4Ben today. By taking part, participants commit to raising £100 – enough to pay for two mental health counselling sessions – and it’s a great way to stay fit and healthy, too. Participants have a month to complete their challenge, which ends on 30th June, and they can connect their fundraising page to Strava to track their progress.
