When The Grazing Shed decided to hit the road with its award-winning range of burgers, only one van stacked up – a ‘Super Tidy’ Sprinter from Mercedes-Benz Dealer Euro Commercials.
The Grazing Shed began life in 2013, after Duncan Black and three like-minded colleagues teamed up to launch their first restaurant in Cardiff. So successful did it prove that within a couple of years they were opening a second, on the other side of the city.
Voted the Number One Burger Joint in Wales at the British Burger Awards 2016, The Grazing Shed’s unique and delicious Super Tidy Burgers are “made from the heart”, says Duncan, using only the finest cuts of locally sourced beef, freshly baked artisanal bread, and innovative home-made sauces and chutneys.
Now the firm which set out to prove that fast food can also be great food has embarked on a new phase in its development, by introducing its first burger van. Duncan explained: “We’d been setting up to sell our burgers at festivals and events since 2014, but realised that it would make life a lot easier in terms of speed and flexibility if we did so from a van.”
