The drive is on for the next generation of engineers to work at Aston Martin St Athan.
If you are about to graduate with an Engineering degree and aspire to a career at Aston Martin, Cardiff and Vale College is hosting the iconic luxury British sport car manufacturer for a special recruitment evening on tuesday, 30 January.
Aston Martin will be at Cardiff and Vale College’s City Centre Campus on Dumballs Road in Cardiff on 30 January from 5-7pm, but attendees must register before tuesday’s event. It is the ideal opportunity for people in their final year of an Engineering degree to meet a member of Aston Martin’s management team to discuss career options and the company’s future plans.
In March 2016 CAVC held the first recruitment day for potential St Athan assembly operators and had three times as many attending as it expected for 750 vacancies. About 200 have so far applied to attend at Dumballs Road on tuesday and there will be further events for the luxury car maker supported by CAVC.
Now it’s refining requirements for future engineers to work at the plant as it is prepared for production in 2019.
