About 6,000 people over 90 holding a driving licence in Wales and there are over 100,000 in the UK, figures have revealed.
According to the DVLA, areas with the highest number of older drivers are Swansea, Cardiff and Carmarthenshire – each with more than 5,000 aged 80 or over, and more than 400 aged 90 or over while the number of drivers aged 80 or older in Wales is 72,000, it told BBC Wales.
North Wales Police stopped a very rare multi-million-pound Koenigsegg One:1 on Anglesey because it did not have a legal number plate.
The force put their stop on social media and said every vehicle has to have a number plate irrespective of its value.
