A North Wales car dealer is supporting a local young golfing star.
Tyn Lon Garage, Anglesey, has partnered with North Wales-based golfer Josh Charnock to support his golfing and business endeavours with the loan of a Volvo XC40, presented to him by Clare Curtin, Sales Consultant.
Originally from Birmingham, Josh moved to the Holywell area when an opportunity became available for him to take on a professional concession at Holywell Golf Club.
The professional golfer also runs his own sportswear and equipment business on site, JC Golf, and volunteers as a coach for the team’s junior golfers, so was in need of a vehicle to keep up with his busy lifestyle – so Tyn Lon Garage stepped in to help by supplying a brand new Volvo XC40.
The XC40 has been Volvo’s most successful model to date, and there’s plenty of boot space for sporting equipment, so it’s the perfect choice for the young sportsman. The car recently added to its impressive awards tally with two honours voted for by customers – Honest John’s Premium Crossover and overall Car of the Year.
Josh said, “Tyn Lon Garage and the entire community have been so supportive of my move to Holywell Golf Club and the new store, and receiving the new Volvo is just the icing on the cake.
“The Volvo brand has had ties with the golfing community for years now and it’s great to be a part of it.
“I am excited to see what the future holds for myself, Holywell Golf Club and Tyn Lon Garage.”
Neil Williams, Dealer Principal at Tyn Lon Garage, said “We’re delighted to be working in partnership with Josh Charnock and Holywell Golf Club.
“It’s important to us to support members of the local community, so we were happy to help and wish Josh luck with his next tournament.”
“Tyn Lon Garage has an established track record of working with golf clubs in the North Wales area, and our exclusive affinity scheme for golf club members offers great discounts, and we’re looking forward to raising awareness of the scheme at Holywell, and of raising awareness of Tyn Lon Garage in the Flintshire area.”
