Research of 2,000 UK motorists, conducted by Vertu Motors, delved into the behaviour and habits of other drivers that Brits appreciate most.
Over half of drivers say they most appreciate when other motorists keep a good distance behind them (54%), while 48% say clearly indicating before turning is a must.
With Brits being known for their politeness, it’s perhaps no surprise that 42% of respondents want other motorists to signal their thanks for considerate driving.
According to 30% of motorists, other drivers allowing them to change lanes in traffic is one of the most appreciated habits while 22% agree their most favoured driving habit from other motorists is when they provide the right of way.
Interestingly, only 17% of motorists chose driving within the speed limit as a habit or behaviour they appreciate most among other drivers.
