The newly revitalised Swansea Transport Museum – formerly established as Swansea Bus Museum – this Sunday hosts the first American Car Show to be held in the region since the early ‘nineties .
A host of the vast glittering ‘gas guzzlers’ will be assembling for the ‘Independence Day’ extravaganza at the Viking Way Museum (SA1 7DA) on Swansea Enterprise Park near Morriston.
The show runs from 10 am until 3.00 pm, with the opportunity to see the museum’s expanding collection of road transport vehicles and which is shortly expected to be augmented by a few spectacular additions.
As well as the ‘Americana’ on show, trade stands, food and drink will all be available on site to enhance the ‘USA’ experience.
Amongst the gleaming cars will be one said to have been originally owned by Nancy Reagan that has come a long way since being the car of the wife of the fortieth President of the United States.
