Oulton Park will host the first double-header race meeting of the British GT Championship season this Bank Holiday weekend, and Welsh challenger Seb Morris will make his first competitive appearance on ‘home’ soil at the Cheshire track since 2013.
From Marford, near Wrexham, 20-year-old Seb, has for the past couple of years has been racing in Europe and on the international stage in Formula Renault and the GP3 Series, and is delighted to be back competing at one of the UK’s premier motor racing circuits which also happens to be one of the most challenging too.
Ahead of rounds three and four of the British GT season, which will both be one-hour contests, the Team Parker Racing driver and team-mate Rick Parfitt Jnr hold fourth position in both the outright GT3 standings and the Pro-Am title battle.
Beginning the season with a fantastic second place finish at Brands Hatch in the No.31 Bentley Continental GT3, having impressively qualified on pole position on their debut as team-mates, the duo now targets a podium return after a tough outing last time out in round two at Rockingham.
