The Western European passenger car market witnessed a highly accelerated growth result in May, with a 14.4% year-on-year uplift to 1,221,610 units, according to IHS Automotive.
This figure was helped by the positive calendar effect in most markets, while public holidays in most markets also favoured this year’s result in comparison to last year.
