Darker nights mean greater dangers

A row has erupted over the latest road accidents statistics and figures which show no accident reductions while a FoI request shows big cuts in safety expenditure by the Government. Wales’ bus lanes could share with HGVs
A plan to let HGVs use bus lanes has been suggested by the Traffic Commissioner for Wales, Nick Jones. The Institute of Advanced Motorists has revealed that nearly 18,000 pedestrians were injured in an accident involving a vehicle in the last full year with analysis available.
