Speeding has reached a six year high. Figures from the DoT show 2.2 million drivers and riders were prosecuted last year compared to 1.6 million five years ago. Safety gets a back seat in driving test
Four in ten new young drivers admit they are unsafe on the road and two thirds of parents agree they are at risk.
