One of the most historically significant Formula 1 Ferraris will be presented by Sotheby’s at their Contemporary Fine Art auction in New York on 16 November.
Chassis F2001 #211, which contested the 2001 Formula 1 world championship, is the car in which seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher won the last of his five Monaco victories and in which he secured his fourth world title, with victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix.
Mid Wales racing driver Ben Power scored another race victory in the MRF National Legends Car Championship at Rockingham to set up a final-round decider at Brands Hatch next month.
Wrexham-based Power said, “The title race is still wide open and it will be decided at Brands Hatch – a great venue for the grand finale.”
