A spectacular flying car sequence has been created to promote Wales Rally GB this autumn.
Organisers of the event teamed up with Zip World and Slate Mountain to put a car on Europe’s longest zip wire and send it down the mountain overlooking Bethesda for the #Skydriver sequence.
The internationally known venue provided the perfect backdrop for one of the world’s best known rallies taking place in North Wales in October and a new spectator stage is being constructed in the hills for the event.
With little more than nine weeks remaining until the thrilling WRC title fight arrives on these shores, official entries to this autumn’s Wales Rally GB 4-7 October have just opened.
Entries for the shorter two-day WRGB National Rally that shadows the main four-day event into the legendary Welsh forests on Friday and Saturday open next Wednesday 8 August and will be accepted on a ‘first come, first served’ basis.
